The book by K.S Ranjitsinhji is an uncommon signed limited edition of the classic book on cricket by one of the greatest batsmen of all time published to mark Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee .It is on a hard board cloth binding extra-large copy with uncut edges & spine re-laid. This is the 77 copy out of 350 copies only of this edition have been printed on handmade paper. Illustrated with frontispiece with 115 tissue guarded photography plates of famous pre 1914 players of the “Golden Age” of the cricket including W.G. Grace, Ranjitsinhji himself, Lord Hawke etc. The Ranji Trophy in India is after his name.

‘Ranjitsinhji, an Indian prince, was probably one of the finest batsmen of all time, not only in terms of runs scored but also because he brought new strokes to the game. His keen eye, unorthodoxy and speed of reaction meant that introduced the late cut and leg glance, as well as the art of back-foot defense.
