This book is unique, original and an exclusive edition to only this. This is No. 12 of 750 copies signed by the author James H. Harris. It is in original black three-quarter cloth over original boards, marbled by hand, with printed cloth label on front and back in a slip case. Along with this there is a signed letter from Yamini Mehta from Christies acknowledging the artist work. Each book is having different marble design making it one of its knid.
As per James H. Harris “Before the marbeling commences we made by hand from recycled materials, not only the internal pages but also the hardboard for the covers and slipcase outer boxes. It has taken over two months to make this one book / the prototype took a full year with a significant few highly valued, determined people, specifically Omprakash and Subal Agrawal, participating together with me to make the finest and most beautiful art book that we could possibly create. Utilizes an equally valid visual language of color and pattern which have, it seems to me, an etherial, dreamlike quality that in a measure transcends time and space. Profound meaningful symbolic representational content.”
